The
man of masks can't seem to stop producing them. He says he creates so
many because he doesn't have that much time left. At a time when many
would be enjoying the fruits of their labors in quiet retirement, Don
continues to experiment with technique and subject matter. Some of the
masks are very large and each is full of vivid detail. They are made
from every imaginable material -- wood, foam, papier-mâché,
plastic, wire and even stone. Unassuming and a little hesitant to promote
himself. or even pose, his works boldly speak for themselves.
